Screenshots of the SolveXia Service
This is what clients see when they first arrive at the service
Signing in
Once signed in, this is what the client will see. At the top is a toolbar, similar to what you would find in products like Microsoft Office. On the left, is the process explorer. The bottom and centre of the screens will remain clear until the client selects a process to work on.
The environment
At the bottom of the screen a display of the steps that make up the process is shown.
Open a process
This presents a dialog box that allows the client to name the run (description), select to run the process immediately (ad hoc) or schedule the run for a later time and, if desired, save the run so that it is stored for audit purposes in the future.
Running a process (1)
This is what the client sees when a process is running. Each step in the process control at the bottom of the screen displays a status, such as 'scheduled' (purple) 'processing' (blue), 'completed successfully' (green) or 'failed' (red). As the process continues to run, the status of each step is updated about every 5 seconds.
Running a process (2)
This is an example of what a detailed step instruction looks like to configure. This is a step that moves data from one data source (in this case an Excel workbook) to another data target (in this case, another Excel workbook)
Moving Excel data
This is an example of configuring a step instruction. In this step, some text data (in CSV format) is being copied into an Excel workbook. This is a very common scenario, where source data from a legacy system is formatted into Excel for further manipulation and analysis.
Moving text data
In this step, the results of a process (an updated general ledger summary file) are being sent by email to the CFO.
Sending an email
All processes are automatically documented and displayed in a Process Specification Report.
ProcessSpecification (1)
Clicking on the title of a process control will reveal all the steps contained in the process control. Clicking on the title of a step within a process control will reveal a full description of the step.
