Use the validation step to check the quality of inputs

Did you know that you can validate your input files before using them in the process? You can validate excel workbooks by using “Validate excel workbook” file instruction. This instruction checks for any formula that results in error in the workbook.

Why validate workbook? Well, Validating input files at the very beggining of the process helps you identify the rogue data that exist in the workbook early in the stage so that you save time and improvise the confidence in the output a particular process produces.

You can validate excel workbook for the #REF, #VALUE, #DIV/0, #N/A, #NULL, #NUM and #NAME errors. I understand and we know that it is tidious and ridiculous for you to look into every cell of every worksheet of the workbook, and that is the main reason; we gave you the way to do it the Fun way and you know what, majority of the excel workbooks that we have processed for validation only took maximum of 2 minutes. That’s right, MAXIMUM.

You can find the “Validate Excel workbook” instruction, in “Manipulate a file AND Multiple file manipulationsaction step under “Data validation and correction” category

I am sure, once you do it the SolveXia way, you would never do it any other way !!
