The Role

The UK office of SolveXia is expanding and we are recruiting automation consultants to work within the consulting team. As an automation consultant, you will:

  • Analyse and evaluate current clients' financial models and processes.
  • Design and implement efficient and robust automated solutions.  
  • Provide user training, hand-over and support.

You’ll be reporting directly to the Head of UK Consulting at SolveXia, and have the opportunity to learn about data analysis, process design, project management and user training. A significant proportion of your work will be performed remotely, with onsite meetings likely in Southampton or London. Skills and Experience

We primarily look for people with the right aptitude and attitude:

  • You strive to create pragmatic and innovative solutions to complex business projects.
  • You are able to think mathematically and logically.
  • You have a maths, science, engineering or business degree.
  • You possess good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • You love to be challenged and are continuously learning.
  • You have up 3 years of commercial experience.


The following skills are desirable:

  • You are proficient in Excel.
  • You possess a basic understanding of SQL and have used reporting tools.
  • You are familiar with basic accounting and financial concepts (desirable).

How will your career progress in this role?

In your first month, you will become familiar with SolveXia's software, solutions and methodologies. You will be an effective member of the team who can provide support to clients.

In your first year, you will be able to collaborate with other members of the team building solutions for clients. You'll incrementally take more responsibility and work on larger projects. You will be able to provide training to clients; run workshops and elicit requirements; and scope, design and build solutions.

One year and beyond, you will work autonomously, efficiently and be accountable for the solutions and clients you support. You will be an appreciated team member who gives feedback and ideas on how the product should evolve. You'll also start onboarding and mentoring new members of the team.
